SAVE THE DATE: Book Fair is Back on November 18th-21st
From November 18th to 21st, your children will have the opportunity to visit the Book Fair with their class during a specified window (your room parent will provide more details as we get closer to the Fair). As parents, you can also attend the fair in four ways:
1. Volunteer at the fair – A signup link will be coming soon!
2. Come after school – (we have minimum days all week) to shop the fair.
3. Attend our morning event – Rise and Shine, It’s Donut Time! Wednesday, November 20th, from 7:30 to 8:00AM.
4. New this year – Attend After-Hours Book Club event on Tuesday, November 19th, from 5:00 to 6:00PM for an extra chapter of shopping.
The best way to help your child enjoy their Book Fair experience and purchase their favorite book(s) is to buy a electronic gift cared to be used at the fair. Gift cards are a safe and convenient digital payment option for your student to shop the fair cash-free. Click HERE to purchase. Please note: we are using a new vendor, Literati, this year, which is why the gift card will replace the “e-wallet” feature we had in the past years. The electronic gift card, however, will operate in a very similar way to the e-wallet. Parents will not need to purchase an actual gift card, as it can be done digitally. As the fair gets closer, you will receive more information from your room parents to help prepare for this exciting event. Please remember that this is a fundraiser for Chaparral, and all Book Fair books and items purchased benefits our school.
