We kicked off the school year navigating construction, turf installation, and solar panel work—and our Cubs showed resilience through it all. Now, we’re ending the year with a beautiful new yard and so many great memories. From Trunk or Treat (followed by an outdoor movie night) and our first-ever Science Fair to a 90s-themed Family Dance and a showstopping Cooper Bowl, our community came together in the best ways. Even in the face of challenges, including the nearby fires, Chaparral families stepped up with generosity and heart—most notably with a successful book drive benefiting local schools.
Thank you to our amazing teachers and staff, our PFC Executive Board and Committee Chairs, and the entire Chaparral parent community. Your time, energy, and support make all the difference. And a heartfelt thank you to Principal Goldstein—your leadership and passion help make every day at Chaparral one to be proud of. Because of you, it truly is a great day to be a Cub.
As we wrap the year, we are also transitioning to our new PFC Executive Board for 2025-2026. We welcome all of our new Board Members, and thank all of our current and Board Members and those whose time at Chaparral is coming to an end for all of their tireless devotion to our school and community. As your PFC Presidents continuing on next year, we (Krista and Nicole), want to give a special shout-out to Alana Schwartz, who wraps up her time as PFC President this year. Alana, thank you for your years of leadership, patience, and heart. You’ve given so much to this school and made a lasting impact on our community. We are so grateful.
As we look ahead, we’re excited to continue serving as your PFC Co-Presidents next year. We hope you have a relaxing and joyful summer, and we can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2025–2026!
