About PFC

PURPOSE

The Chaparral Parent Faculty Club (PFC; a 501(c)(3) Tax ID #23-7334265) is made up of dedicated, talented and tireless parents, teachers and community members committed to enriching our children’s educational environment.The PFC provides our teachers with the additional resources and tools they need in order to provide the highest quality educational experience to every student across every grade. Our goal is to raise over $250,000 this year to continue to provide for the needs of all our students and teachers. Through our fundraising efforts, the Chaparral PFC Community:

  • Special assemblies on campus
  • Salaries and supplies for Chaparral’s physical education program
  • Salaries and supplies for Chaparral’s MakerSpace, a STEAM place for all Chaparral students to collaborate, design, and create.
  • Library resources, including books for the library
  • Teacher expense allotments to spend on classroom supplies and projects
  • Online resources, educational software, print publications (Freckle, Scholastic News, etc)
  • Salaries of campus supervisors to ensure the safety of children during non-class hours
  • Salaries of instructional assistants who assist teachers in the classroom
  • School site improvements and safety measures
  • Field Trips
  • Community Events, such as Welcome Events, Family Dance, Variety Show, 5th Grade
  • Promotion, Staff Appreciation Week, Wellness Week, Trunk or Treat

It takes a lot of volunteers to run successful FUNdraisers and events. Please consider volunteering your time, talent or resources. Check out our Events Calendar to see what interests you. Whether you have a little time or a lot, whether you can help from behind a desk or on campus, whether you’re a mom, dad or community member…we have something for everyone. MEETINGS

Please join us for our monthly meetings, on the 1st Friday of each month, with some exceptions, inside the Multi-Purpose Room at 8:15am or on Zoom. These meetings provide an opportunity to learn about and discuss upcoming events, introduce new ideas and interact with our principal and teachers.
